Look at the Pinguicula photo with the deep violet flower- it has white and yellow striping going on inside the flower-- can you help me figure out what species it is? It's one of those beauties that came to me without a name-- Thanks

Thu, July 7, 2005 - 7:54 PMyeah, I think you're right about vulgaris although the flowers are quite open and there is a bit of yellow tint with the white in the throat -- probably a vulgaris hybrid-- I can't get a better picture because my camera has a crappy focal range- thanks -

Does it form winter resting buds. Or does the rosette get compact. I think it might me pinguicula agnata. It looks too large for vulgaris.
