Sundew as medicine

I used to get sundew tincture at the local healthfood store. I'd read it was pretty good against strep.

I haven't seen it for sale for some years. Was it "wildcrafted" to death? Does anyone know of any companies raising crops of sundew for medicinal purposes?

I'd love to know.

  • It was thought that it may be a medicine. But fortunately it didn't work that well. This is a good thing, Otherwise the plants would have experienced the habitat and overcollecting problems similar to the fast disappearing native echinaceas.
